FAQ
-
When will my order ship?
Thank you for your purchase! As a one-person shop balancing a full-time job, I pack all orders on weekends. Orders ship within 2–4 business days of purchase. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
-
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, via USPS. International orders may take longer due to customs processing. Shipping costs are calculated by weight and destination at checkout. Please be aware that customs fees or import duties may apply upon arrival — these are the buyer's responsibility.
-
I live in San Joaquin County, can I do local pickup?
Not at this time, unfortunately.
-
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Exchanges are only offered for items damaged in transit. If your order arrives damaged, email me with photos within 7 days of delivery and I will work to resolve it promptly.
-
My order never arrived. What should I do?
If your tracking shows delivered but nothing arrived, or if your package appears lost, email me. I'll do my best to help, though I cannot be responsible for packages confirmed as delivered or lost due to carrier error after shipment.
-
Are prices listed in USD?
Yes, all prices are in US dollars.
-
Why did prices change?
Prices were updated in 2026 to reflect inflation and current market rates for handmade relief prints. All prints remain independently priced and hand-produced: no digital reproductions, no mass manufacturing.
-
Are prints signed and numbered?
Limited edition prints are signed and numbered on the front, typically in the lower margin. The edition number appears as a fraction; for example, 12/40 means print number 12 from an edition of 40. Open edition prints are signed but not numbered.
-
What is a limited edition linocut?
A limited edition is a fixed number of original prints from a hand-carved block. Once the edition is complete, no further prints are made. Each print is numbered, titled, and signed by the artist.
-
What is an open edition?
An open edition has no predetermined print limit. These prints are reproduced periodically in small runs and are typically more affordable than limited editions. They are signed but not numbered.
-
What is a reduction linocut?
A reduction linocut uses a single block to build multiple colors. After each color is printed, part of the block is carved away before the next color is applied; meaning the block is progressively destroyed in the process. No two prints are identical, and once the edition is done, it cannot be reprinted.
-
What is Mokuhanga?
Mokuhanga is a traditional Japanese water-based woodblock printing technique. Pigments are hand-mixed with paste and water, then applied to hand-carved wooden blocks and printed on Japanese paper. The result is a soft, layered quality distinct from Western oil-based printmaking.
-
Is the print available in different sizes?
No. All prints are original hand-carved block prints fixed to the size listed. No digital reproductions are made and prints cannot be resized or scaled.
-
Will a sold-out print be restocked?
Limited edition prints will not be restocked once the edition is complete. For open edition prints, I typically do 2–3 reprint runs per year depending on demand and time. Follow my Instagram or subscribe to the newsletter for restock announcements.
-
How should I care for and frame my print?
Most prints fit standard stock frame sizes. Use acid-free matting and UV-protective glass. Do not dry mount or use adhesives. Handle with clean hands. Hang away from direct sunlight, humidity, and temperature fluctuations to preserve the paper and ink long-term.
-
Do you do commissions?
Not at the moment.
-
Do you work with nonprofits?
I'm committed to supporting the community through donations and nonprofit commissions, but capacity is limited given my full-time job. I review nonprofit and donation requests on a case-by-case basis each year. Reach out via email to inquire.
-
Do you have pets at home?
Yes, prints are packed in a home shared with cats. While all orders are handled with care and packed in sealed protective materials, please be aware if you have pet allergies. If this is a concern, feel free to reach out before purchasing.
